Been sick eversince last Friday and today was not exception. The visit to the doctor today granted me with two days of mc and dosage of flu,cough,fever,plegm medications. So before i get too sleepy after taking them few minutes ago,let me just brave myself enough to complete this entry,shall we?
After the visit to the doc, went to bugis lib to complete my research. Was literally very weak,but thinking of the DEADlines coming, i had no choice. After getting the notes i needed, took the train back home. Met the bf halfway. Was almost falling to sleep, when a teenager boy came in to the train. At first I didnt took noticed him, but when he started to make funny monkey faces and peeping to what i was doing ( i was looking tru the bf's psp and almost falling sleep lah!) i got shocked!
Thank god the bf was standing infront of my seat. The teen boy kept walking around the train,picking his nose and coming back to us and was trying to come closer to where i was seated. Thank god the bf was infront of me. The ppl in train saw and everyone was looking. The bf told me to ignore him as he meant no harm and perhaps he likes me. Yah right! The teen boy then came behind the bf and poke the bf shoulder and continued making funny sounds. When the person seated next to me, decided to leave, i told the bf to sit quickly. I wouldnt want the teen boy to sit by my side.
This time, the teen boy was looking at me and continued to pout his lips as if he was trying to blow kisses to me. He then stand infront of my bf and said " this is my 3rd lover..this is my 3rd lover...this is my 3rd lover,you know" He came closer and nearer to me as he said that.Thank god the bf stopped him. By this time, i was nearly tearing mind you! My legs were wobbly already and i would have screamed if he had came nearer. Thank god the bf stopped him and a guy in the train were trying to pick a fight with him. He walked away and stand near to the door. When he got down at Eunos ( Bao Ling, if you meet him there,good luck!) , he was picking his nose and practically trying to wipe it on the train's glass window.
The bf told me that the teen chinese boy might be suffering with 'schizo' . Perhaps my bright green dress captured his attention or perhaps i resemble his lover or wat somehow. Watever the reason was, i tell you, it was a scary experience! Try experience it yourself and you'll know what i meant! The bf was telling me that he actually wanted to talk the boy and asked him more about himself. Whats wrong seh,with you? To the bf this is normal, as his working environment @ IMH dealt with this sort of ppl. Oh my..! Now perhaps i shall forget about sending my resume to METTA school.
 Saturday,28th March 2009. The plan to go for a barbecue was an impromptu decision. It was our 4yrs 2mths too by the way! But it went well last Saturday,despite my 'runny' tap nose and continuously sneezing. The bf fetched me and off we set to ECP again! This time round it was a barbecue date for only us. The past barbecue dates has been with friends and families. Thus this time round, we decided that we need a breather away from the never-ending stress and enjoying each other company.Simply that. The boy and me had been busy thus only last Saturday were we able to meet up together. I was uber glad when i saw him driving in to the lane at expo there.
 I didnt bring anything there, except for my empty stomach! Haha. No JOKE! The bf was well prepared with everything :) This time round we didnt book any barbecue pit thus the bf brought along his portable pit.
 The weather was perfectly fine that day and indeed i enjoyed myself alot! Sometimes, all you wished is just a simple life.Away from the datelines or should i say DEADlines to be met. But like what the boy said as usual, "its just the beginning road for you to succeed,dear..6months more before you'll call it QUIT..."
 And I think we both had an overdose of spicy buffalo wings, tiger prawns,cheesy hotdogs and buttered corns that day.. Im hungry now looking at the pic below. Slurp:P

There were times, many times indeed, when I questioned myself if i'm better off on my own. Indeed, there were many good times shared between us, but as life often revolve full circle, there were also bad times as many as the good ones.I am not one who rest on my laurels, always expecting sunny sundays, everydays. It is only normal that our differences comes to the surface every now and then. How could I describe it? As I used to say, we all have our own darkness lurking within the recesses of our soul. But sometimes, a catalyst is needed to bring out the best and also the worst in every one of us. Naturally, as human beings, we often forget, or perhaps overlook, the very reason why we love and care for our significant others.  Anyway since we were both free yesterday, decided to head down to town. First stop to Cathay to catch a movie. Been ages since we both catch a movie, infact our first movie for the year 2009. So the bf called me in the morning, at 10am to be exact, when i was still in dreamland and told me to get ready. First stop Cathay, to purchase the tickets. We caught the movie 'coming soon' which really scare me to the max. A good twist to the movie i should say and great sound effects which made my hair stands!  After the movie ,since the bf had arranged to meet up with someone to purchase his lens for his new Nikon @ Taka, we headed there next. After his purchase, we went back as it was raining very heavily. We drop by S11 @ Tamp. for dinner before heading home :) His new addition :) He was so happy when he sms-ed me on Friday saying that he had just bought his Nikon D90 @ Funan. This Nikon really burnt a hole in his pocket. "Kan bagus u give me the $2000 and i can get a new PDA hp!"~ as usual the gf always complains. Hahaha. But i cant deny this cam is really good! And it takes good pics of me :)
 At night, as i had nothing to do @ home, I decided to try out this~ 'Batik Marie Vouchelle'. Saw this recipe on the net and since the bf was out at expo with his family, I decided to spend my time baking this:) Mum said it was nice and the bf compliments me too when i gave him this morning after playing badminton :) .jpg) Badminton date ? hahha..

Planned to go for a gateway to Batam. But last minute plans were cancelled and Batam trip to be postponed to June, shall we?
Despite the bitterness not going to Batam, I was still able to smile when the bf decided to drive to Johor.Wanted to ask Bao Ling along, but as usual, she is busy with her sons, next time I go, I ask you along ok ;)! Better be free :P
The bf was patiently waiting for me downstairs as I showered late and dress up late as usuals.
Haha.. Sowie dear :P
As it was on a weekday, the traffic was clear and we reached Johor pretty early.
 First stop: Jusco @ Tebrau City
Dunking donut & chocolate craving anyone ? hehhe :P
 As it was nearly to lunch time, we headed to 'The Manhattan Fish market' for BRUNCH! Was initially torn between Nandos and The Manhattan. And indeed we were VERY satisfied @ The Manhattan. We'll come back here again, PROMISE!  Interior-deco :)  We ordered the seafood platter for two. But when we saw the seafood platter, it seemed like its for FOUR people! Imagine… tasty yummy chunks of seafood with generous amount of cheese all wrapped up, sea bass fish fried to perfection, indulging it while it is still piping hot… Sensational! The fish and anchovies were indeed crispy, the rice fillings were daintily great, the lobster meat requisite amount of sweetness, put them altogether and you get a wonderful matrix of flavors and textures.It didn’t take long for us to leave the plate squeaky clean and we were still yearning for more after we finished up the whole order! Even me who was very particular & picky about food licked my thumb upon having my first bite :) It is really that good! I’m impressed despite costing a bomb with the service charge and all.But when you convert back, its worth the money!  After roaming around and window shopping for about 2hours, we headed next to Angsana. The bf was badly looking for his all time fav. DCSHOE. And he is one whom is very particular when he buys his shoe. But after endless search, he was finally contented and his eyes gleamed with joy as he paid for it :) And i couldnt be any happier, when the boy paid for it. I was all ready with my 1001 naggies remarks if he didnt purchase any, what more after making me walk endless rounds!  Sooon after we headed for some 'vocal chords' training :) Yah, as if :P Went for karaoke-ing and sang our hearts out.Soon after, we decided to call it a day, and bid goodbye to Johor :)  Before heading home, dropped by Bugis Junction. Current addiction: Delifrance hot chocolate :) My hands were so itchy and got myself a new bag :P On the way back, when the bf was sending me home, his hp rang. And we received a news that his friend who studied Mass com. with him four years back then, had commited suicide. He was in shocked and felt remorsed upon hearing it.Condolences to his gf and family.
Thursday, 5th March 09. Since the bf had 4 complimentary tickets to Wild Wild Wet, we decided to head on since we had no plans for the day as our plans were initially plan for BATAM gateway! Arrived there at about 11am and sadly it will be only open @ 1pm. I was actually in phobia to swim since the last time that i really went for swimming was before my op. in September. So since we were pretty early,we decided to go for bowling @ DownTown eAst. As usual the bf won me! Hhmph!  Friday 6th March 09: Facial and Satay indulgence :) Had facial appointment at 3pm that day. It was very relaxing and i enjoyed myself. Being pampered once in a while really makes your day! Before heading for class in the evening, had satay for dinner :)
Sunday: 8th March Head on to Orchard. It was so congested! Neva to go Orchard on Sunday again. Had lunch at Ayam Penyet Ria @ Lucky Plaza and made a quick turn back to Eastpoint. Collected the bf's specs and headed home.
