Plans were made three days before and after exchanging a couple of sms-es we were all geared and couldnt wait for our next meet-up.Sadly, Muhida and Abd couldnt join us. Next time perhaps? :)
Woke up at 9.45am and got myself ready! Packed some food, were out of the house by 1045am and ready to meet the rest.
‘Botanical Garden’ never fails to awe visitors with its creativity which keeps the stereotypical perception of gardening and plants as a boring and tedious activity at bay. It was with all these hype that I wondered over. tempted by the promise to be enthralled by one of the South East Asia’s garden.
Once arrived, I was greeted by the spectacular view of its grey metal gate. The magnificent sight diverted my attention away from the cantankerous troops of mosquitoes, to the reason why I was there (of course by then I had already applied ample layers of defense *winks*). The beautiful design, calm water and the swimming fishes were a teaser to my senses. It not only soothed my mind, but was also therapeutic. It kept me excited as what was to come next! Perambulating around the stupendous garden for more than an hour made me realized that Botanical Garden was really one of the place that brings you close to nature.
Zizie and her beau joined us as well. Infact it was the second time for the compatible couple too. On the otherhand, me and dear was there to also witness the latest place of interest which became an instant hit with many visitors from different demographics and psychographics ever since it opened to public. Like us, they were just as inquisitive. With its outstanding quality,’Botanical Garden’ sure thrusts itself into attention.
Even wedding couples have chosen to pose among the beautiful garden plots in their wedding finery! The photo gallery area says it all which suddenly struck me with bountiful ideas like a thunderbolt. I just love it when I had a light bulb moment! The assimilation of their man-made waterfall and other attraction facilities was way too vast for me to document every single aspect of it. I shall let the photos do the talking for me.. After spending some time there, off we went to Orchard. Drop by Isetan as there was a Christmas shopping sale going on. After we were shagged and tired, we went to McCafe for a drink. While dear was talking with Khai, i oogled and 'played' on his PDA phone. Was kinda 'jakun-s' for a while, since i could surf and msn using his phone. *Browsing thru Yani's multiply*
Dropped by Forever 21 and the Wallet Shop yesterday to scout for a gift for the birthday gal. On another note, thanks to the beau for the Glitter lamp aka Lava lamp. I lurve it lots!

Too much things going on these days that i felt that i somehow need a breather away from all this crazy going-ons. Im no longer a person who sits and dwell on the probs and cry over it. Im much stronger now i should say?
On another note, i cant wait for 2009 though i may not know what are installed for me in that new year. But im praying for the best and hopefully 2009 will be much or slightly better than 2008.. But certain things will be sure that, im continuing my studies and perhaps then take a break from studying before i decide to pursue my degree.. A new 'promo' in 2009, but thats seriously not important. Not even something im looking forward for, as much are expected of me. Whats so great bout the title, seriously. I had actually knew it in Early November, when i was informed, but there's no point to let the world know about it and i kept 'mum' about it.
More crazy days, i foresee... Im glad im not in those career line where my work is rigid to 'only' cater to adults. As much as my career do require me to be involved in all these PTC and giving feedbacks,at least im not always meeting the adults.
Honestly, teaching is a tiring job.But at the end of the day, the satisfaction of seeing them achieving something made your day. The great thing about kids is that they are not picky. They don’t judge people before they’ve met them. They don’t see age, race, gender…it’s all the same to them, so there is no discrimination. That’s why we speak about the innocence and purity of youth, unfortunately, it’s something that fades with time and we can’t “bring it back” no matter how hard we try to. Once you’ve been hurt, been let down, been disappointed by others, you can’t help but be more skeptical about the world.
It’s funny because it seems the more we learn, the worst life seems to get. From a very simplistic point of view, ignorance is bliss and life without all the complications of being an adult really is a lot more enjoyable. Think of a kid’s life..eat, sleep, play, eat, play, sleep…never a care in the world, how great is that!
.jpg) I just wished im a kid again. On a positive note, Im glad that I no longer wallow in the woe of those personal tragedies. Thanks to the amiable people around me that helped me brushed them aside.
Tomorrow is a Saturday, and somehow i miss the time of really having the weekend to myself, doing things i want to do and not waking up to the snoozing alarm clock or having to rush. Plans have been made and i just cant wait to have some fresh air and seriously, relaxing.
Have a great weekend, loves! :)

Han’s Café & Cake House has extended its food business through franchising and including a Halal café bistro named Hanis Café. From what I heard, there are two outlets currently, one in East Point Shopping Mall and the other at The National Library.
Hanis Café has built a solid reputation for serving quality food and beverages at affordable price. The Aglio Olio for example is not too bad for the price they charged. Other Western food there is pretty good for a quick bite; tasty and edible. Just do not expect a fine dining experience or you would be disappointed as Hanis Cafe is ideally catered to those who are pressed for time and in need of a quick meal. The ordering and subsequent serving of food is rather prompt as there always seem to be an excess of staff handling the orders behind the counter.
The overall verdict, not bad, could be better.
After dinner at HANIS the love boy and I made our way to SKP as I was searching for a stationary box. And somehow or another saw the bf's parents.Without thinking, i went in the shop back again thinking of hiding in and hoping they would not see me. Please la, i wasnt dressed appropriately and not in the mood of "tegur-ing" anyone after a looong and tired day at work.
Few minutes later the dad came in and asked him who he was with. He peeped over the shelves and i acted busy. Truly i admit my mind was blank that moment.Trying to act normal, acted surprised and salam him. Knowing that my hide-out was known, i had to go out and salam the mum and made my presence known.
The mum just smiled and asked had we eaten. I just acted normal and replied my usual self. When they wanted to send us back, dear told them that it was alright. Of course, this gf of his shall not humiliate herself again in the car. I already humiliate myself by hiding in the SKP shop aka "Sure-kene-Paotoh" shop. Padan muke! Hide summore la. hahaha....
On another note, the love boy and his family going oversea tomorrow. And i will be boyfriend-less for the days he is not in Singapore. What more, his job now will require him to travel overseas more often. Guess, I'll be boyfriend-less for more days soon, the months to come...

I have been away from the blogging world for sometime. Not that i'm no longer wanting to blog, but as usual i have been indeed very busy!
Sold my laptop away and seriously it broke my heart. Too much memories were shared with that laptop of mine. And how i really took good care of it that it looked as brand new as it was bought.
The bf on the other hand got himself a new PDA phone. Gosh! How I ogled on that thing! Guys & gadgets they live in the same world :P
I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a word to describe the outing we had the other day. I kept tangled in a huge pot of adjectives since one seems insufficient and inaccurate to illustrate the great evening. Hmm... Let me simply put it as an absolutely fantabulous as well as enriching and heartwarming outing. A total fun with a bucket full of laughter. In other words, definitely a day well spent! (",*) The bf picked me in the evening and we drove to KK hospital to visit little Nurul before we proceeded to Arab Street for a hearty meal. Stop by the gift shop there to get little Nurul a gift. Then off we went. As usual when we arrived, Nurul doesnt seemed like she was sick. She was very energetic and was so chatty. Very smart this little girl! We were so amused by her and her and all about her. She didnt want to eat her food, so dear's aunt placed crackers together with the porridge. Before leaving, gave her the CareBear gift as a reward for finishing her food. She was beaming and smiling from ear to ear. And she smooched me with kisses! I miss you honey princess :( We then left for dinner at Arab Street! Dinner there was bathed in the radiance of the harvest moon which was calming to the soul. Not long after the admiration of such spectacular view, the dainty meal got into our brain that we became nuttier by the minute. More topics were discussed over supper at Al-Mahri; my very first experience on what they called as the 'Haji Lane feel'. It was a great place to sit back, relax and catch up on old times. Plus, the sense of art was distinctive, while dear was at the mosque performing his prayer, I could see, smell and feel it everywhere along the lane. No wonder it has been the talk of every batch of teens. It was unique in many ways despite its small area. Stayed back a little later yesterday at work and the gals who stayed were treated with 7boxes of pizza by the C.E.O. Despite the busy day, we enjoyed each others company! A proper Peek-ture! Date with the bf,Khai & his gF tomorrow.Bowling shall we? Let's go boo! ;p

Been dying to blog but somehow the itch and the unpredictable moods have been stopping me.
Last week went to the bf's friend wedding at Hougang Cc. Congrats Rabiah & Partner!
Pampering of myself :)

And guess what after the much pamperings, i was infected by chicken pox,the very next day. Quarantined at home was very bad. The itch was horrendous! My first time though. Thank god im recovered now! Phew!!
At last after being quarantined for nearly 2weeks at home, i was able to go out again. No more itch, no more ugly marks, no more chicken pox-es. As much as i hated to rustle with the crowds at the IT show, i had to, this time round. Got myself a new mini-book. And im loving it. Worth my money and thanks to the bf for helping out to search for a good deal!
Am selling my current laptop this weekend... i'll miss you my lappy!
Went Orchard as the bf wanted to search for his mum's birthday gift. Drop by Ayam Penyet Ria at Lucky Plaza before heading home. Been complaining that I couldnt find the pocket size daily planner at the Popular, the bf made me one. Thanks love! Met the cuzins over the weekends at grandma's place and had a so called get-to-gether. Accompanied cuzzy nurul to the fitness corner as she is planning to burn some fats down. P/s: Sorry for the very short & brief post. Busy..busy...busy... sleeepy! Yawn.... :O To Siti, get well soon :) Enjoy your rest @ home and your chicken pox experience.. ;)
