::: Winter Couple Sonata ::: Saturday, May 31, 2008

My dear has always been supportive and understanding with my busy schedules and never ending piles of work,two weeks ago he willingly agreed to let me have my full concentration finishing my assignments and of course doing all the necessary things that i have religiously been adding to my 'To do list'.

Throughout the course of that time, we didn't meet each other as frequent as we used to nor do we talk on the phone as frequently as we always did.We are too busy, what more with him completing his degree and me trying to clear up all my assignments and work. Despite the unbearable longing,dear was the one who reminded me that patience is virtue thus shook me to the priority which I need to focus on first.

Nevertheless, he never forgets to text sweet messages, embracing me with security that he always love and care and misses me just as much as I do. His selfless character, patience and sincerity have been my primary pillar of strength to reach for the stars no matter how far it may seem.

Now that almost most of the things on hold have been completed, I finally met my minion last Saturday and it felt like the very first date, where silence deepened the union of two hearts, where it skipped a beat whenever our eyes met, where the stomach tingled with dithery and the world seems like made for only you and me, magically harbored by the Almighty, absolutely indescribable, phenomenally real.

So Where did we head to, you ask? Snow City and Science Center. The last time i went there was with my parents few years back, and gosh i was really excited this time round!

After buying the tickets, we made our way to Snow City. After putting on our jackets, boots and gloves we went in. It was brrrrr...cold...
The last time i went there, i wasnt daring enugh to try the bungee snow slope and so i skipped it.

But this time, dear was with me and assured me it will be fun and ok, i decided to give it a try. Half the way up to the snowy slope, i was contemplating and wasnt sure was i doing the right ting
And yes, i went tru it and overcome my fear!

hahhaa....
After about 15mins in there, and i couldnt stand the coldness, we had our hot chocolate from the hot chocolate bar. It was veli lomantic lor! Sipping our hot chocolate in the 'snowland' and looking at others who tried the bungee snowy slope..tsk tsk.. (*sorry to those who dont like mushy mushy stuffs*)
After an hour or so in there, we decide to stop and made our way to Science Centre.

We even got a complimentary tickets to the WaterworkS exibition!
Great exhibits and i enjoyed myself aloT!
Later we had our dinner at KFC at IMM :)

::: TGIF ::: Monday, May 26, 2008

Last Friday, after the very looong and tiring day, met dear and off we went to Downtown East for dinner. The plan was initially to go there on Thursday, but i was very sleepy after i reached home and decided to call it off. What more, we have not met for nearly a week, and how i missed that other half so much!

We had dinner as usual at our favourite food stalls. I had Nasi Lemak, while dear had his maggi goreng, and the treat for us both, Satay!

Met Yan there,exchange greetings and catching up on one another, before he bids us farewell.
Hope he is happy with his Indon gf ;) Dont forget us wen u decide to settle down yah ;) winks*

Wanted to go bowling, but it was packed as they had a competition going on, thus we decided maybe someday, we will come again for a game of bowling with the rest. I love the ambience and the atmosphere there. Definitely will come again pretty soon right dear ;)

Meanwhile, dear will be selling off some of his cams. So if u are thinking to get one, do look out for the deals, if dear decide to post it here ;)

:::Congkak ::: Sunday, May 18, 2008

Last Saturday, met dear and had our brunch at LJS. My stomach was indeed very hungry and the moment we reached TM LJS, we made our orders. Dear had toast bread with egg and cheese, classic English breakfast style, while me, not a fan of toast bread had the combo meal, even though i had to wait for a few minutes before it was lunch time. My order came first instead, and i gobbled my food FAST. Even dear was surprised! First time seh! hahah...

So when dear's toast came, i had finished my combo meal and was awaiting for my golden shrimps with cheese. My normal order at LJS :)

We had to finish our food fast, as we wanted to catch the movie, 'congkak' at Suntec. Thank god we arrived there in time :)

The seats :) Nice atmosphere :)
Overall ratings for the movie: Good, nice sound effects!

After the movie, dear treated me to Pure Chocolatey drink at Gloria Jeans Coffee :) It was our favourites! And to top it off, dear added more chocolate powder and chocolate syrup on it.
Result: Perfect Cup!
Thanks love! Muacks!

::: AmazingAmuSing Race ::: Saturday, May 17, 2008

Yesterday the Teachers had their amusing race at Sembawang Park. It was a very hot day and oh boy, our bodies were all covered with Sunblocks and Insect repellent.

Before heading to Sembawang Park, me, ct,yani and Bao ling met at T.M McDonalds for early breakfast. Then we took bus 969 to Yishun Mrt and later took cab to the Sembawang Park.

9am: Time to apply insect repellent and sunblock lotions.

9.15am: Divided into our individual groups.

9.40am: Given a cloth,vanguard,scissors and a pole to design our team's flag and our logo.

Not forgetting some face painting to paint our team's mascot on our face OR arm.

10am: First Challenge: Spinning Thread

10.40am: 2nd Challenge: The poison balls

11.30 am: 3rd Challenge: Hand Ball ( Tired man )!

After the greattiring game of hand ball, we had to make our way back to the tentage, which was like 6bus stops away. To add to the soreness, the sun was glaring brightly above us.

Thanks alot to Bao Ling for losing her Jade pendant, we were the last group to make our way out of the activities area. Being ever tak tau malu people, we asked the instructors there whether they could give us a ride back to the tentage. And yes they said, come on in!

Lorry pun lorry la... as long we need not have to walk back that loooong path....

Then it was lunch time :) And after that was the continuation of the other half part of the activities game.

And one of the activities was we had to hold a balloon on our stomach and stand in a line with our team-mates. Without holding or touching the ball..

So my team placed our balloons in our shirt....Yah even the instructors said we were 'preggies' marching in a line...

See our pregnant stomachs...hahhaha :)

As usual, Bao Ling had to act clever and cheeky always... Thanks to me who was there to layan her nonsence :P

*Bao Ling: Yah right!!! As if (roll eyes )*

Then it was off to Swensens thanks to Ms J, who treated all the teachers for dinner :) I had my usual, Spagetthi Bolognaise, while the rest had their individual's cravings :)
Later, we had our treaats too...Some had ice-cream, Me and BL had Chewy chocolate sundae, and Ct and Yani had their Apple crumble dunno wat...
Tiring day, but it was a great and fun time with my lovelies!

:::: I QUIT :::: Friday, May 16, 2008

To Linda...
Thanks babe.. Those sharing and camwhore moments were great!
We should do it more often!!

*Anyway quote this story from her blog *
Inspirational :)

One day I decided to quit...

I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. "God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me... "Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?" "Yes", I replied. When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water.

The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

He said. "In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. "I would not quit." He said. "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant... But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the five years growing roots.
Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots."

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. " Don't compare yourself to others .." He said. " The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern ... Yet, they both make the forest beautiful."

Your time will come, " God said to me. " You will rise high! " How high should I rise?" I asked.
How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can? " I questioned.

" Yes. " He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can. "
I left the forest and bring back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.
He will never give up on you.
Never regret a day in your life.
Good days give you happiness
Bad days give you experiences;
Both are essential to life.

A happy and meaningful life requires our continuous input and creativity. It does not happen by chance. It happens because of our choices and actions. And each day we are given new opportunities to choose and act and, in doing so, we create our own unique journey." Keep going...

Happiness keeps you Sweet, Trials keep you Strong, Sorrows keep you Human, Failures keep you humble, Success keeps You Glowing, but Only God keeps You Going!

:::Abd's Birthday Frenzy ::: Monday, May 12, 2008

It was Abd's 20th birthday last week, thus we planned to go to Seoul garden to treat him. Quick exchanging of sms, calls, msns, which we later arranged to meet at 11 :)

I was the only girlfemale among them, as Abd and his ex gal were no longer together. Long story aside. Thus that explains my boredom lack of girls gossips.

Nevertheless, the guys were very nice with me :)
Made our way to Taka @ Orchard, and arrived at Seoul Garden at 11.30, in time for the lunch hour , dear settled the bill, and we comfortably sat at one of the corner seats.

The food spree :)
The contented birthday boy with cake in his mouth!
After Seoul Garden and after filling up our empty stomachs fully, we made our way to the Singapore Flyer. I love the scenery the there. Very nice :)
Dear promised me that we will take the Singapore flyer soon... So meanwhile i jus had to enjoy the scenery from below.
After spending quite some time there, going into shops after shops, we made our way back to Marina Square where dear treated us the McCafe pure chocolate drink with whip cream :) slurp!
What more can i ask for right???!!!
I was a happy bunny!
* Im thinking of joining the belly dancing. Saw the group of belly dancers practicing at Esplanade. And yes, i was tempted :p *

::: Twillight::: Saturday, May 10, 2008

Been busy and i really meant busy...So that explains my lack of updates. Im kinda busy even right now, but you know my hands are itching to blog. Thus i had to squeeze and i really meant "squeezing" some time for blogging.

Thats aside anyway.

So what have i been doing throughout this weeK?

Saturday:
After getting the "huge some" of buckeros, i was all set for shopping. Shopping Online is already addictive plus sinful, what more with going Far East. So got some new tops and a nice shoe for myself :)
Dear introduced me to the ever-delicious sinfully nice chocolatey drink from McCafe. Will be getting it often i guess :P
Monday:
Accompanied dear to do his research for his Psychology and Behaviourism essays, before having lunch at EatZi( did i get the spelling right herE? ) Courts. Had Spagetthi and fruit punch :)
